Flowers are the best home accessories ever so it is no surprise that floral arrangements and wild greenery are becoming more and more popular in interior design. Just this year Red Magazine went as far as creating a “Floral House“. And with most shows during the LDF 2015 featuring flowers, it is right to say that they are in fashion.
This means that you don’t need a home refurbishment to mix things up, just add some flowers. In order to get a fresh and modern look, you will need to know about current flower trends and color combos. So I decided to share with you some great applications of flowers to interiors. Floral inspiration at its purest:
1 Floating flowers. This great idea came from the Decorate with Flowers
: Creative ideas for flowers and containers around the home book (which I highly recommend). This DIY flower arrangement is so easy that everyone can make it. All you need is a bowl of water and flowery bits and pieces.
2 Floral chandelier Making your own chandelier is a bit harder than the previous design but isn’t it gorgeous? Just follow the link above.
3 Flowers taped to a wall, this will serve as an unusual backdrop. More great pictures of this stunning creation can be found on Magnoliarouge blog.
4 Add flowers to your food, but check before adding that they are edible.
5 Make a flower garland. There are so many applications for this trend: you can decorate windows, doors, chairs and so many other items with it. Just use your imagination.
6 Add herbs to your arrangements. This simple trick will make any flower arrangement look more fresh and up-to-date.
7 Create a pretty pressed flower journal. The best thing about it that it will last for a long time, not to mention how amazing it is.
8 Decorate bird cages with flowers in order to get unusual look.
