Like a great picture frame a great vase can define a flower arrangement, and much like a picture frame a vase focuses attention on what’s important: the flowers.
What do you do when you need a vase at 10pm?
As you might realise from my blog, I’m a huge fan of flowers and often buy them spontaneously. One night fresh with the excitement of new flowers, I was unable to find a vase that was all enough for the arrangement I had to look around the house and spotted an almost empty Nuttela jar in the fridge (Nuttela does not last long in my house anyway). I thought why it can’t be a small vase and so the idea was born.
For 2 small flower arrangements you will need:
☆ 2 empty Nutella jars
☆ Flowers – 6 big roses
☆ Herbs 2 packs
☆ Scissors
For those DIY flower arrangements I used 3 pink O’Hara roses and 3 Fiesta roses. With greenery I decided to get artistic and used the most conventional foliage – herbs. Flowers mainly serve aesthetic purposes, but they can also add aroma to a room. Herbs are just made for flower bouquets – as they amplify gorgeous smell of flowers. In addition to this, flowers and herbs mixes are a current trend in the flower industry. Just check out designs of The Real Flower Company in my earlier post.
Stage 1 – get your Nutella jar wet. This will help you remove the label
Stage 2 – remove the label and wash the jar one more time
Stage 3 – add roses
Stage 4 – mix in herbs
And ta-da you have 2 perfect flower bouquets!
