Flowers can make any event look fantastic. We all seen mesmerizing floral decor at weddings and flower shows, but what about smaller events? This post will show how a simple picnic in a park can be transformed into a glamorous event just by adding a couple of blooms.
Last week I had the pleasure of visiting a Bloggers Picnic organized by a Found Some Paper where I spotted those perfect picnic floral arrangements and an unusual photobooth. They were simple, yet chic. The best part is that those picnic flowers can be easily recreated at home.
This look was achieved by using bright colored blooms and a creative approach. When making a flower arrangement for a picnic bright flowers are the best as you will need your flowers to stand out on the green background. So don’t use too much greenery, flowers on flowers approach would be fine. It is also essential to pick hardy flowers, so they would not wilt. Think roses, carnations, lisianthus, and chrysanthemums. Want to add a bit of spice? Add succulents, billy balls (Craspedia) or protea. Place them in a milk bottle or a jar and you arrangement is ready.
Here is a couple if shots from the event.
